EU declaration of conformity

The manufacturer's formal statement that a product meets the CRA's essential requirements, accompanying the CE marking.

A document drawn up by the manufacturer, following Annex V, stating that fulfilment of the essential cybersecurity requirements has been demonstrated. It identifies the product, the manufacturer, the conformity assessment procedure and, where applicable, the notified body and the standards applied, and it is kept for ten years or the support period, whichever is longer. Software may provide it as a link or embedded file.
