What gets auto-logged

Setup (5 minutes)
- Install the Vellaci sidecar — Download from your dashboard → run the .dmg → drag into Applications. Signed and notarised.
- Grant Full Disk Access — System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access → toggle Vellaci on. macOS requires this to read chat.db.
- Sign in — Open the sidecar, click 'Connect to my Vellaci'. Browser opens a Clerk auth flow. 30 seconds.
- Map handles to contacts — Vellaci finds handles already in your address book. For unknowns, drag them onto the right contact in the dashboard.
- Choose what to log — Default: metadata only. Optional: enable 'log body' for selected contacts (off by default for privacy).
- Verify a test message — Send yourself a message from another device. Vellaci dashboard should show the new log within 30 seconds.
