What gets auto-logged
- Sender / recipient addresses
- Subject line
- Date and time
- Thread ID (for grouping)
- Direction (sent vs received)
Setup (3 minutes)
- Open Settings → Integrations — From your Vellaci dashboard, find the Gmail card.
- Click 'Connect Gmail' — Google OAuth opens. Approve the 'Read email metadata' scope. We don't ask for content access.
- Choose history depth — Default: last 12 months. Maximum: 5 years. Vellaci backfills in 1-15 minutes depending on volume.
- Verify a test contact — Open any contact. You should see their email history (sender, subject, date) on the timeline.

Vellaci uses the gmail.metadata scope only — Google does not return the email body to us. We do not store, index, or train on email content.
